Is she really my best friend?

I’m a freshman and I’ve met this girl who became my friend. She’s in my french class and we have so much fun together. More than I do with my other friends. I knew her last year but I didn’t talk to her. We have tons of inside jokes, we can tell eachother about our past, whats going on in our lives, how we feel about certain guys, and I can feel no judgement in her with me. Like when I told her that I’m straightedge, she completely supported me on it. My other friends discouraged me. And we have so much in common. We both love the Giants, San Francisco, food, and we have similar pasts. And we know a lot of the same people. And she’s literally always there for me when I need someone to talk to. And we’ve both never had a boy friend so she knows how I feel. Is she really my best friend? I can trust her the most out of all of my friends. And we have this fun chemistry like we know what the other is going to say and stuff. So yeah. Is she? I have a feeling she is

She is your best friend.Well from your description,it seems she cares about you and she can understand you better than your other friends. You are lucky to have a best friend with whom you can share all thoughts. You can also trust her completely.

She sounds like a nice and trustworthy person. It’s really all up to you, whether she’s your best friend or not. She displays most of the qualities of one, from what I can see. She listens to you, understands you, doesn’t judge you, and you guys sound alike. Whatever you decide, remember to not single your other friends out. It’s nice to have a few close friends, just in case arguments break out between you and another person. That way you know you would have multiple people you could trust to spill

plz this is a rush and i need it by today

No, only New Zealand, the UK, Australia, and South Africa, France, Ireland, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Russia, The Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Canada, and the U.S

| Mar 31, 2011

No one celebrates April Fools day, they just mark it on their calendar to play practical jokes on that day. It is definitely not a holiday and does not warrant a party or celebration.
Peter Davies | Mar 31, 2011

It isn’t a day celebrated like Christmas or new year but, the UK, north and south America, australlia and new Zealand do. That’s all I know of, hope that helped.

What drug store concealer works best to conceal scars?

I have olive skin and a few skateboarding scars on my arms and shoulders. They’re dark, cappucino. Any good concealer for that? Thanks a lot :)

You can consider Coastal Scents Professional Camouflage Concealer Palette.
* 10 Concealers
* Can be used by all ages and skin tones
* Cream concealers
* Very blendable

I like the maybaline dream foundation(: works great
Lauren Christians | Jan 31, 2011

I know you won’t want to pay the extra $, but MAC’s studio finish concealer is seriously the best thing ever. It covers up every single imperfection on my entire body for the whole day. And it sounds expensive because it’s MAC, but it is only like $13.50 and it is sooo worth it. That isn’t even that much more expensive than drugstore prices!
calliebaby | Jan 31, 2011

try maybelline dream matte mousse concealer. it covers pretty well.. the best of the drugstore concealers i’ve tried. it probably won’t make it completely disappear but it’ll definitely be less noticeable.
HELPPP | Jan 31, 2011

the maybelline 24 hr concealer is baller!
it’s super thick and if you dab it on / layer with it you’ll get great coverage.

What are Feminists doing to stop those 'JonBenet Ramsey" type beauty pageants. I'd think they're terrible BUT?

If I speak out against them I’d be labeled a misogynist or perv with ulterior motives

You mean like the Mr. Universe contest! Oh! Right it’s an contest for men – I’m so manly – look at my beautiful body! LMFAO!! Reality CHECK!

Great White | Feb 27, 2011

feminists are hypocritical retards that only think what theyre taught to think from the professors that brainwashed them.
Colon Conquistador, the Second | Feb 27, 2011

Colon go shove a sweet potato up your ar$e.
Chaos Theatre | Feb 27, 2011

Feminists are against them. Do feminists have the power to just stop the pageants at will? Of course not.
Primordial Chaos | Feb 27, 2011

I wouldn’t know. Women in beauty pageants go on to a multitude of careers. Jada Pinkett was a Miss Maryland.
Portland gang member | Feb 27, 2011

Ms. Magazine did an expose of those pageants over 30 years ago in their first or second issue!

They mentioned both the parental pressure on the little girls and the danger of predators.

So it’s not like we weren’t aware, you guys just weren’t listening.

Given that feminists wanted to institute a "man tax," would it be fair to institute a "woman tax"?

As some of you may remember, feminists in Sweden tried to create a "man tax" in 2005. The law would force men to pay higher taxes than women, solely for being born male. This was justified by arguing that men are the ones abusing women and forcing them into shelters for battered women, so therefore, men should be the ones to pay for it.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/wo rld/article581663.ece

But according to this article: http://www.alive.com/948a3a2.php?subject _bread_cramb=270 women’s menstrual cycles are bad for the environment, because the vast majority of their sanitary products contain harmful chemicals which damage the environment. More than 20 billion disposable feminine hygiene products are flushed annually. As the article points out, the chemicals are slow to disintegrate, which causes havoc for the environment, and also poses a serious health issue for the women who use them.

Note also that this article does not come from

Why don’t we go for the carbon tax, and tax you based on age, race, sexual orientation, and anything we can find statistics for.
Jeff R | Mar 30, 2011

We all know that mainstream feminists are full of hate.

That’s no reason for the rest of us to fill ourselves with hate.
Rowdy McFarlane | Mar 30, 2011

You magnificent bastard… you might be on to something!
Schiffy! | Mar 30, 2011

A "Man Tax"…. What the hell is wrong with those women?!

We shouldn’t have a "Man Tax", or a "woman Tax". Those feminists in Sweden are insane… The again it’s from Sweden what do you expect. The men over there are whipped by the women.
Porter | Mar 30, 2011

shhhhh the feminists will hear you
me | Mar 30, 2011

well for one:
women can’t control having periods but men can learn to control how they treat women.
so point one for women.
secondly:
both taxes are stupid and have stupid reasons to create those taxes so
men: -1 points (since a guy thought of this reason for taxing women)
women: 0 points (for thinking of a tax that stupid)
Naty | Mar 30, 2011

Yes – it’s only fair.
The Grappler | Mar 30, 2011

Sweden…’nuff said.
Jonus | Mar 30, 2011

Feminists are too threatened by real equality to support something like that..

Also, consider the lack of shelter for men despite the fact that women are just as abusive if not more so in relationships, we definitely need some "woman-tax" to built more shelter for men.
Gun Fanatic | Mar 30, 2011

Sexism against women is misogyny. Sexism against men is just retribution for oppression.

^Typical feminazi justification for any double standards they create.

I agree with Gun Fanatic. There needs to be more battered men’s shelters.
Smugleaf | Mar 30, 2011

Both concepts are equally assinine. But I also think it’s assinine to make all of us pay a "baby tax" to subsidize people who have kids they can’t afford to take care of. And a school tax for us childfree people who will never use the public school systems. Taxes suck!
