This is a stupid thought of mine but the Lakers are 4-4 this year when playing on nationally televised Sunday games. I don’t think Lakers should play anymore on Sundays during the playoffs if they want to win the Championship.
Lakers fan.
Yeah, I know playing on Sundays had no effect on today’s game. The Lakers just sucked today. But it’s weird to me that they’re 4-4 on these types of games. No problem. The NBA scheduling department can keep doing its thing and select the days Lakers games will be played. Lakers will hopefully win the championship this year.
yea but we cant do anything about it, they make deals with abc on what days the Lakers play
Euro Cup 2012 Viva Espana | Apr 17, 2011
i dont think playing on a sunday was the reason they lost they just were outplayed by the hornets
bulls13 | Apr 17, 2011
This is a dumb theory. Playing on Sundays isn’t why they lose, it’s because they don’t come ready to play.
MG ? | Apr 17, 2011
No the NBA would never not play them on Sundays because they want higher ratings. Don’t worry though the refs will be told to let the most popular team (lakers) win by giving them extra free throws so have no fear.

yes
TrailBlazerFan | Apr 17, 2011
same with the pistons a few years ago when they were still relevant. They got the eastern conference finals then thats it
Grip Tail | Apr 17, 2011
rigged, thornton got fouled in the last minutes of the game
Mike Corleone | Apr 14, 2011
Great win, New Orleans here we come!
Again, people complaining the refs won them the game. U guys seriously have some issues
Justin M | Apr 14, 2011
The refs won the game
Joan Harrison | Apr 14, 2011
Lakers getting help from the refs..just like all the previous years.
Alex K | Apr 14, 2011
The refs did have some impact on the game, but the Kings still blew a chance to win the final seconds. Its on them…
It was fun to watch the Lakers blow a 20 point lead to the crappy Kings and then barely grasp on to a win against them with the help of David Stern
Kwame Brown | Apr 14, 2011
Great game. Kings came back from 20. But they started panicking in overtime. Kobe was clutch and the Lakers got stops when they needed it like champions do. Thorton was fouled on that last play though but they didn’t call it. I don’t think that was fair at all.
Jamaican Man *Thanks Edge* | Apr 14, 2011
lakers let a 22 point lead slide against the sac kings. wow they arent going anywhere in the playoffs. SA, Thunder, Mavs, and Blazers will not blow a lead like that in the playoffs in the 4th quarter cuz those teams play defense! LA IS DONE.
10Thumbs down 4 U! | Apr 14, 2011
L.A. again paid off the Referees to ignore real fouls committed against SacTown. Stern wants the Lakers to play Hornets because everyone knows that Portland would spell doom for L.A.!
Refs were bought before the game even started. Their mission: call Phantom Fouls against SacTown in Kobe’s favor.
Eric B | Apr 14, 2011
How can ppl say that the refs won the game for the lakers when the kings were the ones up by 3 with like nine seconds to go? You know why the lakers won?……too much Kobe
Fabio Reyes | Apr 14, 2011
Sad that the Kings lost in their last game at ARCO Arena
Chuck Norris | Apr 14, 2011

Totally insane and crazy! I knew this game would be good, but this is like super exciting! I think the Lakers will take this game, but I could see this game going to 3OT+. Let’s go Lakers. The game is tied at 123. This game could make NBA history.

Brooke | Mar 23, 2011

No moral victories.
Lara Croft | Mar 23, 2011
hell yeah they both are playin there hearts out
RKO then Punt | Mar 23, 2011
Maybe they can just call it a tie so they can both win. Great game by both teams, but there are no moral victories for these teams.. on second thought.maybe the Suns might take a moral victory. I don’t think the Lakers will see it that way though.
Corey (Go Dubs!) | Mar 23, 2011
Lakers won, the steal from Artest wrapped the game up.
