What will happen? I swore at a teacher? - November 7, 2010 by Admin

Everyone in my class had bottles of water out on the desks, had there phones out, and Ipod in. And i mean literally everyone. We had a new teacher, who was unbelievably strict, but only told me off. Everyone was talking, and he told me off for talking :\ told me to put my water away, took my ipod and phone off me :| and when i questioned about everybody else’s things he gave me a detention :| wtf? It was an art class and we’re all allowed to have our things out and just chill while we’re drawing, but when i told him this he went mad, and said he came from an elementaryy school & that we do things his way. WHY THE FOOK WAS HE PICKING ON ME FOR?

Anyway, i lost my temper and said, "F*ck you" i stood up and repeatedly said, "F*ck you, F*ck your rules, F*ck your stupid clip board, and he said in a worried voice, "Get out" and i sort of lost it then, and started shouting, No, you get the f*ck out! over and over again, and i chased him out the classroom

LOL. well you’ll definitely get a detention at the very least. At my highschool, you would recieve a suspension for 5ish days. you shouldn’t be expelled though.

Yeh teachers are horrible when you have brothers/sisters they hate, everyone gets angry now and then but dont let your anger let you down. You just need to take a few deep breathes and see where it gets you. To be honest at the end of the day any guy would get as much punishment as you will for doing something so ridiculous that will get you in enough trouble. But why on earth would a teacher tell you off and not everyone else, too me its saying everyone else is spoilt but you ! it happens anywhere
    JOPP ! | Nov 05, 2010

No matter how much rights you had or how pissed off you were, it was wrong of you to swear at the teacher. Your punishment wouldn’t be that bad (like they can’t expelle you) but you’ll either get lots of Detention, or a couple days of suspension or community work. Yeah…… it sucks when your teachers judge you because of your older sibilings, but that answer usually don’t hold you up with anything. Just don’t get mad again that might get you into more trouble…… and take your punishments gracefully

Why do students think that an art class gives them special permission to have their phones and water bottles on their desks?

No, your ‘new’ teacher does not have a vendetta against you, but you may be the first person that he/she decided to speak to regarding the flagrant abuse of the school rules. Students are not permitted in Ontario to have cell-phones in use during class, (that means, they are not allowed on the desks either) and water bottles are allowed, but not on the desks.

A similair sort of thing happened to my brother, he was getting picked on by the teacher and he screamed f*** you! a few times as well. He was only suspended from school for one day and it didn’t go on his record. If you explain what happened and get a few friends from your class to say that they all had their phones and ipods out aswell but he didnt pick on them then you should be fine mate. Good luck and hope i helped =)

Probably a day or two of whole day isolation. Might have to write a letter of apology.

    Good Luck :)

    Hoped I Helped :)

Sounds like something i would like to wacth :P
    Hoped I Helped :) | Nov 05, 2010

For swearing at a teacher you should expelled; never mind suspended.
    Jackal | Nov 05, 2010

Well, I know of a kid that has done this to the teacher and told her to F* off once he only got righten up and a phone call home and sent to see the administrator. Personally i really was surprised he didn’t get suspended, I suppose it depends on the teacher.

Why did we let Republicans back in when we just took them out 2 years ago? - November 6, 2010 by Admin

Like many smart people, I was disappointing with the midterm election. Back in 2008 we were determined to take out the republicans and put the democrats into office. Now it is the reverse! I have now a new republican senator, a republican representative, and a republican governor. (I live in Ohio)
Tell me what happen? I mean only after TWO years we decide to let republicans back in! I mean it is okay for their to be support for the republican party and all that but here is the three things that gets my goat with the republicans in this election (and what probably got them into office in the first place.

1.The National Budget: The republicans act like we need to ensure a better future for our children and grandchildren. So therefor we must stop "Out of control" spending. I’m sorry but do any of them know we are in the middle of a financial crisis! We need more jobs, we need money to flow, we need HELP! So we NEED to spend more money if we are going to help

Yes, this is a very sad day for America. All of your point are very true. It’s like more then half of America had totally lost their minds. I’m in such a state of shock that I can’t give you a good answer. I’m afraid the end is very near. The 2012 predictions are closer to coming true.

Because idiot Democrats replaced the Republicans with Socialists!
    Philip McCrevice | Nov 03, 2010

We had to make sure nothing got done in government. Think about it a gop controlled house and dem controlled senate. now nothing will get done! *evil laugh*

The one thing I can thank President Obama for is that he woke up the American people!
    Beverly S | Nov 03, 2010

It was the fastest turn around since 1938. Hey, congratulations! I now have a Republican governor, Republican senator, and a Republican Rep, too! Ain’t it grand?!
    goodluckwithhat | Nov 03, 2010

simple. Democrats go power crazy and do for themselves instead of for WE THE PEOPLE. I live in O-H-I-O and couldn’t be happier with the results. Mary Jo Kilroy was an Obama-bot.

what’s even better.in ohio as well as your neighbor pa. the republican governors get to make all of the new zoning for the districts.making it next to impossible for democrats for the next 10 years.just look at the other 32 republican governors to get that picture.

Uh, have you taken the time to look around at the effects of the liberal policies that have come out of DC since 2007? Are you somehow satisfied with the bankrupting, utterly unsustainable idiocy that has come out of DC for the past two years?

    Really?
    Yep | Nov 03, 2010

Republicans have had control of both chambers of congress since 1994. From 1994 to 2006,
Dow went from 3300 to 12500,
Unemployment went from 6.5% to 4.5%,
Gross Domestic Product went from 7 trillion dollars to 13.5 trillion dollars,
CPI went from 2.7% to 2.5%.

Lets see what these numbers have done since the liberals took the chambers in 2006.
    Dow 12500 to 11000
    Unemployment 4.5% to 9.8%
    GDP 13.5 trillion to 14.5 trillion dollars, CS | Nov 03, 2010

Cause the Dems screwed up more in 2 years than Bush in 8. Newsweek even rates Bush as more influential than Obama. Oh the pain for the idiots on the left. LMWAO

    Here is where you and the democrats went wrong: "Like many smart people". The sheer arrogance of this statement itself explains the downfall. It implies that anyone who disagrees with you is simply not smart. As for your points;
    1. The federal government is not supposed to provide jobs for everyone. The government should make sure the environment exist where the private sector can create jobs, grow wealth and money can "flow". Government money displaces private money
    duker918 | Nov 03, 2010

Are you just talking about when Obama came in or congress in general?

Congress has been under democrat control for the past $4,553,969,658,629.32, I mean 4 years.

If you want to know WHY this happened, you could look at the $3 trillion spend just since Obama entered office in January 2009.

1.) The national budget: While it is true that when a recession comes the government will intervene to try and stabilize it. It is the indiscriminate spending that causes

Can you recommend a movie that is similar to one of the following? - November 5, 2010 by Admin

My brother is coming over to visit from deployment. I haven’t seen him in five years and I wanted to watch a movie with him. Here is a list of our favorites, so if you could recommend a similar one, I would appreciate it.

    V for Vendetta
    Count of Monte Cristo
    Fight Club
    Gladiator
    Braveheart
    Kingdom of Heaven
    Shawshank Redemption
    Matrix (1 only)

We did not like the following similar movies

    Last Samurai
Lord of the rings All three
    Troy
    300

We also don’t like very old movies anything before 1980. I know it sounds snobbish/elitist, but this is a matter of preference and not morality so no need to justify my tastes, right?

    Thank you in advance
